Paul Hunham is a stubbornly strict
classics teacher at a New Hampshire all-male boarding school. Profoundly
disliked by his students and colleagues alike, Hunham is forced to stay at the
school over the Christmas break to watch over the students who cannot go home
for the holidays.
I loved how authentically old the director managed to make this film set in 1970-1971 feel. It truly felt like a movie from that era. The director and his cast made an awesome job bringing this coming-of-age story to life. It was absolutely brilliant. Paul Giamatti is so convincing every time I see him in a role. And he was well supported here. Overall, a great film.
