Directed by: Steven Soderbergh
Cast: Julia Roberts, Albert Finney, Aaron Eckhart
Running Time: 130 minutes
This film is a
dramatized account of the true story of Erin Brockovich, an unemployed single
mother who finds a job at a law firm and embarks in a legal fight with energy
corporation PG&E in the Hinkley groundwater case.
Erin Brockovich really comes to life on film here, through the acting work of Julia Roberts. You forget the actress and believe the character. She does an awesome job in a compelling story inspired by an unbelievable true story. Some of the supporting characters are weaker here, but Roberts more than makes up for it.
