A
group of women are using Steve Harvey’s book, Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, to get control over their
relationship with their men. Their plan backfires when the men realize what is
going on and decide to pretend like they give the women what they want so they
can finally get them in the sack. Like it is bound to happen when you play
games with affairs of the heart, problems ensue.
This
movie is filled with clichés and stereotypes about the types of men and women
you can find out there. The mama’s boy and the single mom, the man afraid to
commit and the girl who wants the ring, the dreamer and the woman who is her
own man or the player and the 90 days rule girl. There are not too many nuances to be found
here. Still, this romantic comedy manages to be funny in some spots, before
getting a little cheesy in the end.
Some
light-hearted entertainment for those slow nights where one does not want to think
too hard about what he is watching on the tube.
