Peter Quill, who was abducted as a boy by alien thieves, join up
with a group of extraterrestrial creatures to form the Guardians of the Galaxy
and fight off the enemy over the possession of a powerful orbital artefact.
This superhero movie offers quite a considerable dose of gobbledygook
that is sure to appeal to comic book nerds. I am not one of those people, so
that was a turn off to me. That being said, there was a also a lot of humor,
which I appreciated. Many lines made me laugh quite a bit. And the music was awesome.
So, while I found this film overly long, considering the story did
not appeal too much to me, I was still somewhat entertained.
