Over two days, in April of 1999, the band
Metallica got on stage, in Berkeley, California, with The San Fransisco
Symphony. What came out of those two shows is an amazing blend of heavy metal
and orchestra music. At first glance, one would think that these two genres
would not mix. But, the people involved made it work. This is a grandiose show,
well worth seeing.
