While in Berlin for a
biotechnology summit with his wife Liz, Martin Harris is involved in an
accident in a taxicab that plunges into the river. Harris is rescued, but he’s
without papers and suffers from memory loss due to a blow to the head. As he
gains back some of his memories, he finds out that somebody else has taken his identity
and his place alongside his wife. He goes a trek to figure out what happened
and to prove who he really is.
The plot to this film is a little messy and convoluted, but the acting and the direction made the whole thing better in the end. Some twists were stretching the limits of believability, but the whole thing was entertaining and neatly wrapped up in the end.
